Preparing For Surgery

Approximately one (1) to two (2) weeks prior to your surgery, one of our nurses will call to review your health history and the information that is contained in the packet you receive from the physician’s office and to answer any questions you may have. Our business office will work on verifying your insurance benefits/eligibility and will contact you prior to your date of surgery to review this information with you.

During Your Stay

Feeling overwhelmed or apprehensive about surgery is completely normal, especially when uncertainty lingers. It’s common to have unanswered questions and concerns that contribute to these feelings. However, gaining a clear understanding of what lies ahead can alleviate much of the apprehension and fear. Being well-informed about the process and what to expect empowers you to feel more at ease and in control of the situation.

After Your Surgery

You will receive verbal and written post-surgical care instructions (please follow these instructions). Your escort must be available to discuss and sign these instructions before you will be allowed to go home. If you experience anything unusual after your surgery, please call your surgeon or go to the nearest emergency room. A nurse from our center will call you the next day after your surgery to check on your recovery.
